If you make stir-fries and curries several times a week, it?s worth investing in a special cooker to produce the accompanying rice. This electronic rice cooker/warmer makes up to 10 cups of rice--enough to feed a crowd of 10 to 20 people--and takes up little counter space. The rice cooker has an LCD screen that is easy to see when programming settings and preparing your rice. Equipped with a fuzzy logic microprocessor, the unit controls the cooking time after you program in your quantities on the control panel and produces more consistent results every time. A timer sounds at the end of a cooking cycle and the electronic rice cooker automatically shifts into a warming mode. If the rest of your meal is ready long after your rice, a reheat option on the menu will give rice a 20-minute warmup. This appliance has a 13-hour preset timer and a cook timer that can be manually set between 1 and 60 minutes for steaming vegetables in the included plastic steaming basket or between 1 and 4 hours for stewing on the slow-cook setting.The inner pan on this appliance has a nonstick interior for easy cleaning.
