From some of the other reviews I read before purchasing the oral irrigator,I thought it would be more powerful than it is but it does do what it is advertised to do and is very convenient for travel. It is worth the money I spent.
Description of Panasonic EW1270AC Portable Oral Irrigator
With the high speed Panasonic EW1270AC Portable Irrigator your mouth can feel clean and refreshed anywhere, anytime. Strengthens gums by massaging gumlines with just the right amount of pressure Folds down to nearly half its original size for easy cleaning and carrying Fits easily into your bag and packs away without any messy cords or awkward tanks, so you can take the irrigator wherever you go! Power Source - 3V DC or 2 1.5V alkaline batteries, not included. Dimensions with tank open are 8.9" H x 1.8" W x 2.5" D, Dimensions with tank closed are 5.9" H x 1.8" W x 2.5" D. Weight is 7.4 ounces without batteries.To supplement tooth brushing and dental flossing, Panasonic's oral irrigator delivers 1,600 pulses of water per minute to teeth and gum lines. The jet of water clears away debris between teeth while massaging gum lines and rinsing the mouth. It's a healthy oral hygiene tool for everybody, and especially helpful for people with hard-to-clean braces or retainers. Operation is simple: slide the irrigator into position, insert the nozzle, fill the tank with cool water, turn on power, and start irrigating. One full tank offers 40 seconds of use, and Panasonic recommends refilling the tank two to three times per cleaning session. Designed for convenient portability, the irrigator operates on two AA batteries (not included) and collapses to just 6 inches for storage. A drain at the base of the water tank simplifies emptying, and a storage notch holds the included irrigator nozzle between uses.
